Kiambu county governor William Kabogo has called on Kabete residents to vote come out to vote freely and fairly the leader of their choice.
The county boss said that he is ready to work with any leader who will be elected in the office despite political affiliation for the betterment of Kiambu County.
Kabogo who was speaking on Sunday at Pentecostal Church Evangelist of Africa (P.C.E.A) in Githunguri said that Kiambu residents should come out and practice their democratic rights and choose a leader who will continue the work of the legendary the late George Muchai.
He said that the decision the Kabete people will make, he will abide by it and work tirelessly in improving Kiambu county in general saying voting is an individual right.
The governor appealed to the residents and voters not to be influenced by petty money by renowned politicians but instead choose a leader according to his credential and integrity to possess a government office.
“Don’t choose a leader who has integrity issues but a leader who will lead you in confidently and fairly since Kabete is a great region that deserves a great leader to continue the work of the late George Muchai,” said Kabogo
He has expressed his concerns with leaders who politicize Kiambu development urging them to focus on development and wait for 2017 to carry their campaign.
He said that he does not fear impeachment since the people of Kiambu are the ones who elected him into power and thus called on residents to be careful by malicious leaders.
Kabogo further requested the Kabete aspirants to remain calm and embrace the winner thus should concede fairly and trust the Independence Electoral Board Commission (I.E.B.C) final verdict.
