Former Juja member of parliament and current Kiambu governor William Kabogo has urged ODM party leader Raila Odinga to honor the 2013 agreement between Wiper Democratic Movement party and ODM. According to Kabogo, the delayed naming of Uhuru’s opponent has confused him to the extent of not knowing who will face his boss.
Kabogo said if the agreement is not honored then Odinga will cease to be a gentleman. He is among many Jubilee politicians who are using the flag bearer turmoil in NASA as a strategy of splitting up opposition.
Several leaders who are in government are targeting Kalonzo and encouraging him to go solo if NASA does not pick him to face the incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta.
Recently, Parliament Majority leader Aden Duale sarcastically praised Raila Odinga in parliament and urged opposition to give him an opportunity to face President Kenyatta.
Duale said Odinga has the resources, think tank, numbers and is a proven leader. Many believe this statement was meant to unsettle Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula who might leave opposition.
The two have taken radical stands something that does not please MusaliaMudavadi. The Amani National Congress party leader warned that if any of them defects he won't make it to State House.
