Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo has said that his government is set to release more funds for women and youths in the county.
Kabogo said that the youths are the potential leaders and they need to be empowered through different projects to ensure they are motivated.
"This will help our youths stop indulging into the drug abuse, immorality and crime," said Kabogo.
Speaking in Ngecha, Limuru sub-county on Thursday Kabogo said that women will have to be suppressed with the projects that will help them to sustain them and their families.
Kabogo said that men have left all the family responsibilities to the women and thus the youth and children of nowadays do not value men as it used to be in the past.
“Men are letting us down nowadays. Men has even stopped attending barazas that most of the times are very important in development,” notes Kabogo.
He called on the youth to form groups which will help them to get government loans hence starting businesses which will see them build their future.
