Kiambu MP Jude Njomo has accused Kiambu Governor William Kabogo of poor leadership and undermining members of parliament in the region.
Speaking at a fundraiser at Ndumberi Grounds on Monday, the law maker said tha poor leadership from the governor led to all the problems residents face today.
The fundraiser was meant to raise funds for the construction of two classrooms at Marks School for the disabled.
Njomo accused the governor of being biased in development stating that Kabogo has largely concentrated on areas he has friends and not the entire Kiambu. He said that due to this, he is not the right person to be on that seat and he assured residents that come 2017 nominations, they will come with the right candidate to evict him in nomination polls.
"Kabogo has totally looked down upon some of us leaders which is a clear indication he can't bring development where we lead. I urge you to choose the next governor wisely and not because of his name,’’ said Njomo.
He also said that Kabogo has limited the freedom of youths such as the blogger who was arraigned in a Mombasa court for writing an article about him.
