Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo, has been urged to share development funds equally to all wards in the county.
Speaking to reporters in Thika town on Thursday area MCA, Elizabeth Muthoni, said locals are still finding hard to access services.
The Ward Representative said the county gets enough funds which should be channeled to all wards without discrimination.
“Kiambu Government should ensure that all areas benefit equally on development projects,” notes Muthoni.
The MCA noted that locals from the ward have been complaining of being left behind on development matters.
Muthoni said devolution was meant to oversee development and the county must put in place appropriate mechanisms to ensure residents benefit.
Meanwhile, the MCA wants the county government to repair road infrastructure in the area.
She complained that most roads are in poor condition and the situation is worse during rainy season.
Muthoni said that proper road infrastructure will enable residents and business people move freely.
The MCA also asked the county to install street lights for a 24 hour economy.
