According to Kabogo, who was speaking on Tuesday at Gitaru Ward when he was issuing Sh1.2 million worth of bursaries to the beneficiaries, it has come to his attention that doctors are diverting government medicine to their private clinics at the expense of the county residents.

He said that the doctors are no different to criminals, who have been terrorizing the Kiambu County, and if found, the government will not relent on them.

The county boss warned that he will revoke their licenses and be arraigned in court to face full justice for stealing government property, and as well putting the lives of the patients in jeopardy due to lack of drugs in the hospitals.

He has expressed his concern with the heinous act of the doctors and urged the residents to report the doctors to the nearest police stations for the authority to take action.

Kabogo said that improving the health sector in his county is the first priority, since a working nation must have a healthy population.

The governor revealed that he gas set agents in government hospitals to spy on those doctors and the culprits will soon be apprehended.

He warned that soon he will conduct an audit at various hospitals to curb misappropriation of funds and irregularities, which are as a result of the criminal activities in the area.
