West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin has accused Kanu of being a misplaced party with no agenda for the country. Kachapin, who recently ditched the Independence party and joined Jubilee rubbished off Kanu’s chairman Gideon Moi. “I have been with him and I know him, he can’t. I was the only Kanu Governor but I ditched the party because of the confusion in it . Kanu has failed to unite people even in Baringo alone how can they make it for the whole country? Gideon is like a hand cart being pushed by three people on the hill .He should make himself an angel at the moment,”he said. Governor Kachapin castigated Kanu’s move to throw weight behind President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection bid in the August polls terming it a political game for 2022. The governor said the Baringo senator will not capture the senatorial seat.
