Lands Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has dared Senate majority leader Kindiki Kithure to table a motion of impeachment against him.
Kindiki threatened to lobby the motion against the CS for failing to resolve Meru-Tharaka Nithi border conflict.
Speaking on the sidelines of Ameru professionals meeting in Chuka on Saturday, Kaimenyi downplayed Kindiki's urge, saying that land disputes cannot be resolved with incitement or threats.
"Kindiki was not there when I was issuing titles deeds in Tharaka Nithi. For him to say he will table a motion to impeach me it's surprising as we cannot solve land issues with incitement," Kaimenyi said.
The CS faulted Kindiki for cheating the Meru and Tharaka Nithi residents that he refused to issue out title deeds.
Kindiki made the remarks at Kwa Ng'ombe, Tharaka constituency on Friday claiming that Kaimenyi has failed to solve Meru Tharaka Nithi border conflict.
