Political temperatures at the Coast are rising at a quick pace.
The big wigs in this game full of propaganda are having a rough time quelling the pressure from able opponents.
Numerous obstacles are being erected to prevent Governor Hassan Joho from ruling the Coastal city of Mombasa for a second term.
Things took a turn after veteran politician Ramadhan Kajembe, announced his unexpected return to politics, proving that in deed politics is an occupation for the retired.
Kajembe’s political comeback will now force Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar not to relent in his bid for the governor’s seat.
Following his appointment as the Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) chairperson, Kajembe now wants to be the voice of Mombasa residents in the Senate. This is a nightmare for Joho because he is now sure of facing an able opponent in Omar.
“For now let me focus on the Kenya Ferry Services but at the end of the year, I will be launching my senate bid,” said Kajembe, as quoted by the Nation.
Kajembe said he is ready to correct his mistakes, that saw him lose to Omar in the last general elections.
