Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku has declared Kajiado County a Jubilee Party stronghold.

Speaking over the weekend in the county, the former Opposition lawmaker further told off critics, saying he was unapologetic in his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid ahead of the August polls.

“If by telling my people that Jubilee is the place [to be] is seen to be political so be it. I am not lying when I say that Kajiado is 100 per cent Jubilee, neither is it propaganda,” he stated.

Nkaissery made the remarks during the official endorsement of Kajiado gubernatorial hopeful Joseph Ole Lenku by the county's Assembly Speaker Johnson Osoi.

He further criticised governor David Ndekianye's track record, claiming that the County Chief's tenure has not realized any meaningful development for the past four and half years.

“I have not seen any development by the county government, apart from what has been done by MCAs,” he said.

“There are no new schools in this place apart from the ones I built as MP for Kajiado Central,” he added.
