Speaking on Sunday in Meru, Kajuju termed the reportsbeing propagated by her competitors.

She called on her comepeitors to bruise for a tough challenge in 2017

"Whatever offers that anyone has in mind I am not ready for them. I am firmly in the race for this position and I will defend my seat," she said.

Kajuju is facing a formidable challenge from media owner Kawira Mwangaza and Elizabeth Kailemia (a JP member)

She further denied that she has been promised a position in the East Africa Legislative Assembly if she opts out of the race.
