Kajwang' was speaking druing an interview with citizen TV on Tuesday morning said Amina went to represent the country and that calls for grief from all Kenyans.

"Amina still has a job that will end in August when Jubilee's term in office ends," he said.

"In my view people should not celebrate her loss, Kenya sent a player to represent them just like Harambee Stars could travel to represent us in another country and they loss we should feel sorry," he added.

The legislator called on Kenyans to stop viewing the lose as a Jubilee loss and called for a probe into our foreign policies that may have led to our neighboring countries failing to support her bid.

"Amina's lose is the nations loss is not a Jubilee loss," he said.

"What should be assessed is why our neighboring countries did not support us and what that means to our foreign policies," he added.

Amina lost to Chad’s Moussa Mahamat. Mahamat beat CS Amina by 12 votes after garnering 38 votes against Amina’s 26 following seven rounds of voting in Addis Ababa on Monday.
