Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Paul Nkata says he is proud of his charges after the Super Cup outing and has now shifted focus to the Kenyan Premier League.
Homeboyz finished fourth after losing to Singida in post-match penalties, in a third position playoff match played on Sunday 10th June in Nakuru.
Speaking after the match, Nkata said he is proud of his team's performance in the week-long tournament.
"Penalty is a lottery, it can go either way and today we lost. I am proud of my boys, they played very well and I am proud of them," he said.
"We now shift focus to the league, we have a game on Wednesday, we have to prepare for that," he added.
Homeboyz will take on Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday 13th June at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
