The hostile political relationship between Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale and Governor Wycliffe Oparanya seems not to be ending any time soon after the governor became the latest politician to throw a verbal attack at the vocal senator.
Oparanya told Dr Khalwale to keep off ODM affairs and mind his own business.
This comes barely a day after Dr Khalwale lashed out at ODM party leader Raila Odinga reminding him to avoid imposing candidates on the people of Kakamega.
However, to Oparanya who is also the ODM deputy party leader, he and Dr Khalwale belong to different political parties despite them working under the same coalition.
As such, he and Khalwale who wants to challenge him for the gubernatorial seat are in competition.
"I am not the type to be imposed on the electorate. I have time, capacity and energy to seek votes from the people of the great county of Kakamega," Oparanya said on Tuesday in a statement.
