Former Kibwezi member of parliament Kalembe Ndile has hit at Wiper party leader and cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka for saying that he has handed over defectors to president Uhuru during the Mashujaa Day celebration in Machakos town on Friday last week.
Addressing journalists on Saturday in his office in Mlolongo, Kalembe said that Kalonzo's speech was uncalled for since the event was held to honour heroes who fought for our countries independence and not a political rally.
"Kalonzo misused the podium by uttering such words when everyone was gathered there to celebrate Mashujaa day and not listen to politics," said Kalembe.
He went ahead to note that many Kamba political leaders are misusing their position to spread venom among people thus tainting the political profession giving an example of Nairobi county senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko misconduct during the burial of Wavinya Ndeti's late husband Prince Henry Oduwale.
During the Mashujaa day fete, in his speech, Kalonzo Musyoka told president Uhuru Kenyatta that he had handed over the defectors to him wholeheartedly since they did not take any value from Cord.
