The lawmaker alleged that Raila, a former prime minister, wants to use unconstitutional means to becomes the next President of this nation.
He claimed that the heckling of youths in Jubilee strongholds during his campaigns is a plot to raise alarm for no reason.
"When you are playing football, there are some players who stage their fall so as to get a free penalty kick. That is Raila's trick," Kalembe said, as quoted by Star.
He called upon the Kamba community to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto as they seek to retain power in August. He argued that the two leaders have initiated various projects, adding that they deserve another term in office in order to complete the projects they started in the past four years.
"We urge Kambas to fully support Uhuru since they stand to benefit more from the Jubilee administration."
The remarks of the lawmaker come at a time when both Uhuru and Raila have expressed confidence that they will win in the August general elections. The two leaders have intensified their campaigns in different parts of the nation.
