Former Kibwezi MP Richard Kalembe Ndile has threatened to withdraw his political outfit, Tip Tip from Jubilee Party.
According to The Standard, the former lawmaker said that the political outfit has sidelined his allies.
The vocal politician argued that he has nothing to smile about despite having supported President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto during the last general elections. He accused National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale and senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen of removing his name from the list of candidates named to join the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA)
“I obeyed the call by the National Assembly clerk Micahel Sialai and senate clerk Jeremiah Nyegenye, the presiding officers for the applications and presented my documents for considerations but Mr. Duale and Mr. Murkomen removed my name from the list in bad faith”, said Mr. Kalembe, as quoted by the local daily.
He further said that members of his party are not being treated as equals when it comes to the affairs of the political outfit. The remarks of Ndile come at a time when both Jubilee and National Super Alliance (NASA) Leaders are deliberating on the names of candidates presented for nomination to EALA.
