Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has asked Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka not to trust NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.
Ndile claims that Kalonzo is only being used as a rubber stamp to Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
According to the former MP, Raila will not endorse Kalonzo’s presidency in 2022 whether he (Raila) wins or loses in the August 8 general election.
Ndile said that NASA does not have the interests of Kamba community.
“Kalonzo Musyoka has refused to listen to wise voices and he will have himself to blame after August 8,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
The Mavoko Parliamentary MP asked Kalonzo to cross over to Jubilee, saying it is not too late for him to dump Raila.
The former Kibwezi MP said that the Wiper leader is still youthful to be in politics, adding that he will becoming irrelevant once NASA loses on August 8.
Ndile said that the Kamba community cannot wait until 2022 to be in government.
“Our time to be in government is now and that is why on August 8 we will be endorsing UhuRuto’s re-election,” he said.
During campaign tour of in Ukambani three weeks ago, President Uhuru Kenyatta pleaded with Kalonzo to join the government.
He said that Kalonzo is allegedly being misled by the NASA presidential flag-bearer.
President Kenyatta went on to say that Kalonzo could work with Deputy President William Ruto in 2022 if he agrees to ditch NASA.
Kalonzo has however maintained that he will never betray the Kamba community by working with Jubilee.
The Wiper party leader during a rally in Kitui Town on Thursday claimed that Jubilee is afraid of losing and wants to scuttle NASA ahead of the August 8 polls.
