The Kalenjin Welfare Society is planning to reconcile the Deputy President William Ruto and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto so as to end the constant wrangles that has been experienced between them.
Speaking to the press yesterday while in Eldoret town, Simon Murkelda the chairman of the society said the continued widening differences between the two leaders has annoyed the community and it was a high time that something is done to end the rift.
"We have discussed it in details and we are very optimistic that our mission is going to bear fruits. We should not sit down and allow the differences between the two leaders to continue and yet we know very well that there is something that we can do to help end it," Murkelda said.
Murkelda added that they would involve all the leaders in their region to ensure that their mission is not stopped by anyone.
"All we want is to unite our leaders so as they can concentrate on bringing development to us instead of fighting for no reasons. We are urging all the leaders in this region who wants to join us to come to us so that we can kickstart this mission," Murkelda said.
The Chairman said that they were going to visit Governor Isaac Ruto sometime next week at his home they were going to ask him to reconcile with the Deputy President before setting up a date for the two to meet and solve their differences.
