Isaac Rutto maintains that the Kalenjin community will vote opposition outfit NASA despite perceived influence of Jubilee party in Rift Valley region.
The NASA fifth principal further says the community has been sidelined by Jubilee government and accuses DP William Ruto of ‘misleading’ his own people over development.
The Bomet governor has been a chief critic of Jubilee regime and has never hesitated to question its performance in high level political meetings.
“I want to promise you that Kalenjins are in NASA and they will vote for Raila Odinga,” said Rutto, whose party has been offered Deputy Premier Position in NASA government structure.
He added: “We have been slaves of Jubilee government and time has come for them to know that we are less interested with their theatrics.”
He is set to face a stiff challenge from Deputy Speaker of National Assembly and Sotik MP Joyce Labosso in August elections.
Despite the influence of Jubilee party in the region, CCM party has been giving the government sleepless nights in recent days.
