MCA Waichere cited the need to share with the less privileged members of the society saying that everyone has a part to play in caring for the needy.

He said that he saw it right to celebrate with the residents who are mostly poor and less privileged with the little relief food he had since he has been receiving calls from the area leaders who are concerned with the challenges encountered by the people living in Kalimoni area.

The MCA has called on the public to remain calm and spend wisely especially as the hard time when they were waiting for the rains is gone and urged them to start farming to sustain themselves and their families when famine strikes again.

“Today I come here with the heart of sharing and also giving thanks to God for the rains. We should always care for the less privileged in the society and pray to God to grant us the power and the grace to understand the needs of everyone,” said MCA Waichere.

He has vowed to ensure that no one starves in his Ward despite the calamity in the area at the moment, promising to be always helping them to get at least a meal.
