Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has asked Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama to declare his stand in the National Super Alliance(NASA) before August.
The former vice President, who was speaking to the press after attending a church service in Mlolongo Sunday, said it is high time Muthama came clear about his position in the alliance.
The Ukambani political kingpin, also The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka, argued that Muthama has been tarnishing his name in rallies and other campaign platforms. The former vice President also said that there is no way the senator will campaign for Cord leader alone when they are a team.
“You are either with us or not, you cannot say that you will campaign for Raila and not Wiper because they are one entity and distancing yourself from Wiper means you are not in NASA too,” Kalonzo said, as quoted by Citizen.
The two leaders have been at loggerheads for weeks following Wiper party governor nominations in Machakos.
The senator had faulted Kalonzo for imposing leaders on the people of this part of the nation, citing the case of Machakos Senator Alfred Mutua and Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti, who is contesting for the county’s top seat.
