Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has launched a scathing attack against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto for ignoring the plight of residents of marginalized areas such as Isiolo.
Speaking in Isiolo County on Saturday, Kalonzo said that the current leadership has not shown any willingness to change the lives of Isiolo residents as well as those living in other marginalized areas in different parts of the nation.
The Ukambani political kingpin added that Isiolo has continued to lag behind in matters of development because of selfish leaders. He went on to call upon the residents to back The National Super Alliance during the next general polls in order to reap the fruits of the new constitution.
He further lashed out the state for attempting to bring him down political after reports emerged that he has secret foreign accounts under his name.
“These people have just realized that Kalonzo is becoming more and more popular. This is just a strategy to derail my chances to be the NASA presidential candidate. It is bound to fail,” he said, as quoted by Standard.
The former vice president has been urging other NASA Principals to pave way for him to send home President Uhuru Kenyatta in August. Kalonzo was accompanied by Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula.
