Former Assistant Minister Professor Julia Auma Ojiambo has endorsed the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta to serve another term in the country's top office.
Ojiambo, who was the running mate for presidential candidate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka in 2007 polls, said Uhuru is the most suitable candidate to push the country’s development agenda.
"Within his four-year rule, Uhuru has impacted remarkably well on Kenya’s infrastructure development and thus be handed another five-year tenure in office," she said.
The founder and chairperson of the Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) cited the Standard Gauge Railway project, new road networks and electricity connectivity to thousand of households as some of the reasons why the Jubilee candidate should continue leading the country.
She further hailed the President as a true nationalist who has demonstrated a willingness to unite the country.
"Uhuru accommodates other people’s opinions regardless of their social, political or economic status. He embodies young national leadership that acceptably cuts across all of Kenya’s landscape and communities," said the former Funyula MP.
