Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has launched an attack on Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua ahead of the August General elections.

Speaking after the High Court cleared Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti to vie for the areas seat, Kalonzo said that it is now clear who is being used in reference to leaders who wanted to bar Ndeti from contesting.

The former vice president also called upon his supporters and other members of the Wiper Party, an affiliate of the NASA, to embark on serious campaigns before the August polls.

“I am happy that we have crossed this bridge. Let us now concentrate in campaigning for all our candidates to win in August. Now we know who are being used,” said Kalonzo, as Citizen quoted.

Wavinya Ndeti, for her part, urged Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct free and fair elections for the sake of good leadership in this nation.

“IEBC need to be fair, if they could have consulted the Registrar of Political Parties, we could not have reached here (in court). Today it has been seen that Kenya is bigger than Wafula Chebukati and IEBC. All this conflict is now in the past and I have forgiven IEBC, and I urge them to conduct a free and fair elections in August. I want to thank people of Machakos for standing strong with me,” said Wavinya.

Mutua fell out with Kalonzo after walking away from Wiper Party while citing frustrations from the boss and other leaders of the political outfit.
