The former vice president said that Ole Lenku failed to deliver services when he served in the government yet he expects to become a county boss.
Kalonzo, who has been vocal in criticizing the Jubilee leadership for the past years, said that NASA will rally the electorate behind the incumbent Governor David Nkedianye to beat Ole Lenku when that time comes. “We want him to defeat Ole Lenku,” said Kalonzo.
“If he failed in his ministerial job, how can he succeed in leading the people of Kajiado?” he asked, as quoted by Nation.
On his part, Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga, now NASA presidential candidate asked the Maasai to snub President Uhuru’s side to back him for the nation’s top seat in order to realize develop.
The former prime minister said that the Jubilee government has been lying to the Maasai community, adding that time for change in leadership had come.
“These people also have no intention of bringing development to this area. When they see me campaigning here they bring tractors and park them, pretending they are going to build roads but later drive them away. They are fond of making false promises.
