Speaking during the union of Kevin and his heartthrob Elizabeth, Kalonzo said that cultural diversity has played an important part in the unity of this nation.

“Today is not a day of politics. All I have come to do is to congratulate the two. It is a great thing when cultures come together and when our diversity becomes something we should be proud of regardless our ethnic affiliations,” Kalonzo told the attendants.

The Cord co-principals went on to wish the lovebirds a happy marriage. “I have watched Kevin grow up and all I want to wish him and his beloved wife is a blessed marriage,” he added.

Other guests who attended the union of Elizabeth Kifwa and Kevin Mutinda included the Kenya Railways chairman Jeremiah Kianga, former Cabinet minister Marsden Madoka, former Kenya Railways Chairman Jeremiah Musuva and former Mayor, Mavoko Municipal.

Peter Mailu and Kambua Manundu are among the celebrities who were invited to attend the wedding over the weekend.

Kalonzo’s sentiments about cultural diversity come at a time when the nation is looking forward to the next general polls.
