Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, has accused the National Super Alliance (NASA) coordinating committee of causing confusion within the alliance.

The committee whose members are drawn from all the alliance's member parties (ODM,Wiper,Ford Kenya and Amani National Congress) have been tasked with the responsibility of selecting the most suitable of the 4 principles to contest for Presidency on the alliance's ticket.

Addressing members of the press at the party headquarters in Nairobi Wednesday, Kalonzo said that the committee is to blame for the leak of the information whose content spelt out that the alliance has settled on ODM chief Raila Odinga as its Presidential flag bearer for the August general polls.

Musyoka said that the committee has failed to keep information on its progress out of public domain and should carry the blame over the current confusion in the outfit.

''If the committee cannot hold it's secrets and prevent them from dripping out then it is also to blame for this confusion,'' said Musyoka who further accused the committee of being careless with the alliance's confidential information.

This follows a claim made by ODM Secretary General Agnes Zani who on Tuesday revealed that according to the leaked lineup,ODM party leader will be the alliance's flag bearer in the August 8 race for statehouse and will be deputized by his Wiper counterpart.

Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi will hold the Chief Minister slot and Ford Kenya party boss Moses Wetangula will be the majority leader should the team succeed in unseating President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The claims have aroused fears with Wiper and ANC, both of whom have denied taking part in making the decision accusing ODM of planning to shove Raila down their throats.

Kalonzo however rubbished the claims maintaining that the alliance is yet to agree on one of its own to represent the block in the race for State House come August 8.

''No decision on the flag bearer issue has been made. We will communicate to Kenyans once the decision is made,'' said Musyoka.
