A new poll has indicated that Kenyans have more confidence in the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka as compared to president Uhuru Kenyatta’s deputy William Ruto.

According to the survey conducted by research firm Ipsos, Kalonzo leads in the level of confidence with 34 per cent while Ruto has 33 per cent.

The Ipsos poll further revealed 40 percent of Kenyans have confidence in Uhuru while 39 percent trust NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The poll was conducted from July 3-12 this year through phone and face-to-face interviews and was released, Sunday, July 23, and 2,209 people were polled.

The findings have an error margin of 2.09 per cent.

Ruto and Kalonzo have both expressed interest in vying for the presidency seat in 2022.
