Machakos town Member of Parliament Victor Munyaka and his Yatta counterpart Francis Mwangangi on Monday at different events blamed Kalonzo for sanctioning leadership dispute in Machakos and Makueni Counties.

Munyaka alleged during a press briefing in his office that the Wiper Leader was the main draftsman of the crisis saying, “The leadership wrangles in Machakos and Makueni Counties erupted after the elected MPs and the senator went for a retreat in Mombasa where they planned the impeachment of Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana. The same is now happening to our governor Alfred Mutua who is being targeted through the sway of Machakos Senetor Johnstone Muthama.”

Munyaka recently snubbed Kalonzo’s meeting stating that it was a call to support failing politicians rebuking it as a waste of time.

The MP recently launched an initiative dubbed ‘Operation Linda Counties’ which he said was aimed at redeeming Ukambani leadership.

“I am urging all youth, business operators and the elite in in Ukambani to step up and support this dignified movement to transform our region’s leadership,” said Munyaka.
