Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's efforts to call for dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta backfired as supporters insisted on swearing-in.

A visibly struggling Kalonzo immediately changed tactics in line with the majority demands as NASA launched onslaught on Jubilee administration.

"I am to tell Uhuru that time for dialogue is expiring. It is now or never," he said amid jeers at Machakos rally on Friday.

For weeks now, Musyoka has been battling internal claims that he is secretly supporting Jubilee with sources insisting that he is against the swearing-in of Raila Odinga.

And a cornered Musyoka quickly changed tactics when overpowered by supporters when he backed the swearing-in plans.

"Our swearing-in is unstoppable. We shall ensure it happens whether they like it or not," said Kalonzo after difficulty in convincing supporters on dialogue.

Despite resistance from diplomatic community, NASA leader Raila Odinga has vowed to go on with the planned inauguration.
