Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka broke into tears during a press conference.
Kalonzo was in the company of Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi when the four surfaced together for a media address at the Okoa Kenya offices.
The four appeared to assure their supporters that all was well even after the three principals left Raila to show up solo for the swearing in at Uhuru Park.
However Kalonzo became emotional when Raila spoke about an attack at his home on Wednesday.
"Pole to my brother Stephen Kalonzo for the attack at his compound against his family. My brother here has got a sick wife who is ambulant in the house. Imagine the kind of shock such a person would receive when a grenade is thrown into the compound, and bullets are fired," Odinga said during the presser.
An emotional Kalonzo removed a handkerchief and wiped tears.
