Wiper Party is pushing for a retreat of the National Super Alliance NASA, to deliberate on the state of the coalition.
This comes amid allegations that the Wiper Party was left out in the nomination and awarding of positions in both houses.
The party is also seeking assurance from the Opposition that its leader Kalonzo Musyoka will fly the coalition’s flag in the 2022 elections.
However, Kalonzo has downplayed that the coalition is on the rocks, and further dampened the ‘premature’ campaigns for 2022.
Musyoka’s return was eagerly awaited by his troops and took the first opportunity to pour their heart out on Thursday.
During a visit to the late Francis Nyenze’s home, the leaders lamented over unfair distribution of slots to key parliamentary groups.
“While you were away your Excellency, we lost a PSC seat in parliament because there was no one to help in defending us,” said one of the MPs.
“Wiper will not allow our elected leaders to be taken for granted, we are equal partners in the coalition, we are a major party in this country,” said Senator Enock Wambua.
“We are going on a retreat as NASA and one of the main things is that we must have an order in NASA, there must be serious order,” said Musyoka.
Musyoka, however, dimmed the clamor on 2022, saying they needed to concentrate on the current situation first.
“you people, you mean you have already given up on this? We cannot finish move to 2022 before we fully handle 2017 issues,” he added.
