Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has hit out at the National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale terming him a liability in the ruling coalition.
Kalonzo said the Garissa Township MP will cost President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto re-election for practicing exclusionist politics at the behest of unity.
"If there is a person in Jubilee who will help us (opposition) send Uhuru and Ruto home before 8 a.m during August 8 elections, it is Duale. He is seeking to fan ethnic animosity instead of preaching unity. Kenyans are tired of a regime that is biased against a section of its people," said Kalonzo.
Duale has been accused of allegedly making hate comments threatening to evict members of the Kamba community living in Garissa County.
Speaking during a public rally at Garissa Primary School Grounds, the Cord co-principal insisted that the government must walk the talk and sanction the outspoken lawmaker.
He reiterated his earlier threat that he will be writing to the International Criminal Court (ICC) over Duale’s alleged “inciting comments”.
