Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has rubbished reports in some media claiming that he does not support Raila Odinga’s planned swearing-in.
The NASA deputy leader says that the reports are malicious, stating that he fully supports NASA’s push to have Raila sworn in as the people’s president.
Speaking to journalists when he visited the late Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze’s home to condole with the family on Thursday, Kalonzo said they will take oath if Jubilee government ignores the electoral reforms agenda.
He said that the push for electoral reforms is unstoppable and that propagandists will not succeed in causing rifts in the opposition.
The former Vice President warned Uhuru’s government against dismissing their swearing-in stating that they (Jubilee) have no power to stop the people’s wish and will.
“Uhuru if you will not allow dialogue, Kalonzo and Raila will be sworn in. Don’t blame us when we are sworn in,” the Wipe leader said as quieted by pulslive.co.ke.
Kalonzo who was making his first public appearance since he jetted back from Germany on Wednesday urged NASA supporters to be patient and not to give up.
NASA has maintained that plans to swear in Raila and Kalonzo are complete.
The opposition states that the sweating in will take place early next year even as the government warns against the move that it has termed treasonous.
