Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has laughed off Machakos governor Alfred Mutua’s efforts to dethrone him as undisputed Kamba kingpin adding that he is going ‘nowhere’.

In the last two years, Kalonzo has been fighting rebellion within his party that was led by Mutua, who has since formed his own party, Maendeleo Chap Chap.

And in yet another swipe to the outspoken governor, the former Vice President cautioned Kamba community against voting Mutua’s party.

“I hear there is a party called Maendeleo Chafu Chafu,” said Musyoka during his address at Wote apparently in reference to Mutua’s Maendeleo Chap Chap movement.

He added: “The only party we recognize here is Wiper and all other existing parties should be treated as Jubilee friendly. We can afford to vote Jubilee candidates.”

A part from Mutua, Kalonzo is also fighting a rebellion by a section of Wiper MPs led by Kisoi Munyao who have since backed president Uhuru Kenyatta.

During his Ukambani tour with other opposition leaders, Kalonzo insisted that the region will vote overwhelmingly for NASA.
