Cord co-principal and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has condemned the legalisation of sex between cousins and termed it as not only a sin but unacceptable in the African society.
Speaking during a funeral ceremony in Kikungu in Makueni county, Mr Musyoka said that it was despicable for the court to trample upon African values and morals by legalising sex between cousins.
He urged law makers to consider reviewing the clause and make amendments.
"How did we even get to this really. It is shameful and if the clause isn't reviewed it may lead to moral decay in the society," he said.
On other matters, the former Vice-President faulted IEBC over the recent capping on money to be spent at campaigns by politicians saying that it clearly showed that leadership will be left to the rich hence locking out poor people who might not afford.
He added that the move by the electoral commission would only benefit the rich and lead to millions of taxpayers' money being spent recklessly.
