Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sent condolences to Mavoko MP Patrick Makau following his father's death.
John King'ola died last Thursday, he will be buried this Friday.
Kalonzo who visited the legislature at his rural home in Joska, Mavoko sub-county on Sunday assured him of his support.
Makau was recently charged with arson, incitement to violence and interference with evidence of another case after Syokimau AP Camp was burned down during Law Society of Kenya, Machakos Chapter's demonstrations.
He denied the charges and was released on Sh100,000 bail.
Boda boda operators burnt the camp in protest against the murder of human rights lawyer Willie Kimani, his client and a taxi driver.
Kalonzo said the Wiper party will hire the best lawyers to represent Makau.
"Makau and Senator Johnstone Muthama have exemplified immense courage in the face of intimidation. The Wiper fraternity will stand with them until the end," said Kalonzo.
Kalonzo said Makau is a peaceful man who stands for the rights of his people, not an inciter.
