The opposition has been experiencing anxiety with Musyoka and Ford-K's Moses Wetangula urging their co-principal Raila Odinga to support them.

Kalonzo who was in his second-day tour in Gusii region told his supporters at Marani market that he was ready to run against Jubilee as Cord flag bearer insisting that his other colleagues will support him.

“I am confident that I will carry the opposition mantle because we have done enough to show my worth. I believe 2017 will be my year so I appeal to you to support me so that I can rescue the country from Jubilee regime,” he said.

”I know my friend Raila will support me because we have worked together for a long time. As an experienced politician, I have what it takes to be the CEO of the country,” he said barely kilometers away from the venue where Raila Odinga was holding another meeting.

The Cord co-principal also toured South Mugirango, Bomachoge-Borabu, and Kitutu Chache South together with Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar.
