Wiper Democratic Party has declared party’s leader Kalonzo Musyoka, as its flag-bearer in 2017 General Election.
National Executive Council (NEC) held a meeting at its headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi where they made an announcement.
The party, however, made it clear that it will remain committed to the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) by respecting the agreements with partner to field joint candidates in certain areas.
The party also urged those elected on Wiper ticket and later defected to Jubilee Party to resign and give room for by-elections.
The party Secretary General, Hassan Omar said that the Cord coalition will be registered as a party in a bid to field a Presidential candidate and joint candidates in competitive areas like Nairobi County.
