Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has come to the defense of Senator Johnstone Muthama and Mavoko MP Patrick Makau over their recent accusations relating to incitement to violence.

Speaking at Makau’s Joska home where he had visited to condole with the MP’s family following the death of his father, Mzee Peter King’ola, the former Vice President accused the Jubilee government of using orthodox mechanisms to muzzle and emasculate the opposition.

“Honorable Muthama and Makau have exemplified immense courage in the face of intimidation to speak their minds and stand for what is right for this great nation,” said Kalonzo.

He said the two leaders will get the best legal representation over their pending cases in court.

The late Mzee King’ola will be laid to rest Friday next week at his farm in Machakos County.
