While speaking in an exclusive interview on Musyi FM on Friday morning the Wiper leader narrated his hope for Mutua and how the governor disappointed him.
"Governor Mutua really disappointed me, I had high hopes for him. I wanted to mentor him," said Kalonzo.
"Mutua is a project, he was propped up to ruin my name in the grassroots," he added.
The former Vice President also talked extensively about his development record and the need for Machakos people to vote for Wavinya Ndeti and by extension ensure that Wiper candidates are elected in the August 8, polls.
"They have spread propaganda that I did nothing in government, but what has Ruto done except involvement in scandals. I brought water to Mwingi from Mbeere, that was my project. I extended Del Monte road to Mwingi," he said.
"I have told Ukambani people to be cautious with independent candidates, they will be bought by Jubilee. It will be bad for Kalonzo to be Raila's deputy and Wiper doesn't have governors, senators, and MPs," he added.
