The Senator, who was speaking during an exclusive interview with Citizen TV insisted that the political outfit belongs to all the members and not just Kalonzo, also the NASA Deputy President.
“Wiper does not belong to Kalonzo alone, but to all of us. I am a life member of Wiper and I continue to pay monthly contributions” he said.
The outspoken senator also said that he will stop making contributions once he makes up his mind to leave the party officially.
“I have something in there and when I will decide to leave I will leave with it,” Muthama said.
The lawmaker further said that the only way he can re-unite with Kalonzo in the near future is if he learns to respect the rights of the electorate.
“You respect people’s rights, you walk with me. You mistreat people and you part ways with Muthama,” the senator said.
“I regret the way Wiper is being micro-managed,” he told a press. The senator’s move not to defend his seat has attracted mixed reactions from different leaders in the nation.
