Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua now claims that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is not in agreement with NASA’s call for election boycott on Thursday.

Mutua claims that all signs show that Kalonzo wants the repeat presidential election to take place as planned.

Addressing journalists at the Machakos county offices on Monday, the governor claimed that Kalonzo was angered by Raila Odinga’s withdrawal from the presidential election.

He alleged that Kalonzo wanted the repeat poll to take place as planned and that he departed out of the country out frustration.

“The silence of NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka over the last few weeks is telling and also sends a message that he is in agreement with the Thursday repeat presidential election,” Mutua said in a statement posted on his official twitter account on Monday.

Governor Mutua went on to tell journalists that Kalonzo is not happy in NASA and that he is opposed to street protests being agitated by the alliance.

The governor said that the repeat poll set for Thursday is constitutional and will take place whether NASA like it or not.

He accused the opposition leaders of brewing tribal hatred in the name of electoral reforms.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) party leader urged Kambas and Kenyans to ignore Raila election boycott and vote on Thursday.

Kalonzo flew out of the country moments after Raila Odinga withdrew from the repeat poll two week ago.

The Wiper party leader is said to be on official duty in Germany.

It remains unclear whether the NASA deputy leader will be in the country before the Thursday repeat poll which NASA maintains will not take place.
