Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been endorsed by his party to be the presidential flagbearer in the 2017 general elections.
Musyoka received his endorsement on Tuesday following a Wiper Party National Delegates Conference that was held at Kasarani on Tuesday.
Speaking after receiving to okay, Musyoka said that a revolutionary change was all the country needed basing on the recent increase in the number of corruption cases in the country.
He also said that Kenyans were being overwhelmed by the forces of poverty because those in power were enjoying the stealing at the top while the common mwananchi continued to suffer at the bottom.
Also in attendance was Cord co-principal Raila Odinga and Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale representing Ford Kenya.
Kalonzo's Cord co-principal Raila Odinga congratulated him for the endorsement and said the party had played their part in nominating a strong and visionary leader.
Presence of the other opposition leaders was a strong message to the Jubilee government that the opposition was scheming a formidable force to battle President Uhuru Kenyatta from power.
