Wiper party leader and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to come back on Tuesday.
Kalonzo was expected to land on Saturday but failed after reports that doctors attending to his wife had decided to transfer her to another facility.
The party leader decided to stay and oversee the transfer.
Ms Pauline Musyoka has been in Germany for several months after she fell ill.
This forced her hisband, Kalonzo Musyoka, to abandon political activities in Kenya and keep her company.
There were already plans on Saturday by NASA to receive Kalonzo at the airport.
NASA said there will be a closed door meeting of NASA top honchos on Wednesday after the arrival of Kalonzo.
