Former immediate Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has expressed his disappointment with the current National Assembly.
Speaking on Tuesday in Lukenya during the funeral ceremony of the late Judge, Kasanga Mulwa, Kalonzo said that some members conduct are a shame to the House.
Kalonzo’s utterance comes a few days after Imenti Central MP Gideon Mwiti was accused of raping a woman in his office.
The Wiper Democratic Movement leader urged the parliament to censor and investigate the MP and if found guilty to face the full force of law.
“We need to protect the spirit of our Constitution. This is not right and the law should be followed and if found guilty be brought to book,” said Kalonzo.
He urged Kenyans to uphold and fight for the Supreme Constitution as a way of remembering the Late Kasanga who believed in fighting for justice and practicing the same.
Other leaders present during the funeral were: Moses Wetangula, Prof Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni Governor), Dr Alfred Mutua (Machakos Governor), Johnstone Muthama (Machakos Senator ) and Daniel Maanzo (Makueni MP).
The late Kasanga was former Makueni MP. He was buried at his residential home in Lukenya Machakos County.
