Speaking on Radio Citizen Tuesday, the Amani National Congress (ANC) legislator saw no need of another meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya opposition parties.

He said that the three blocs should instead back recent talks between the President and opposition supremo Raila Odinga, as the two have already promised to address national shortcomings.

''There is no need for another meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Wiper, Ford Kenya and ANC parties as the same has already been undertaken by the alliance chief Raila Odinga,'' he said.

''Odinga has also briefed them on the agenda and conclusions of their meeting and, therefore, going back to the same agenda, for the second time, will taking the nation aback,'' said Savula.

Savula called upon the three National Super Alliance (NASA) bosses; Musyoka, Moses Wetangula of Ford-Kenya and ANC chief Musalia Mudavadi to now concentrate on strengthening the friendship established between Odinga and Kenyatta to ensure that the deal delivers.

''The trio should consider upholding whatever was discussed now and take the issue to their parties for more deliberations after which the implementation part should kick off,'' he added.
