He said this is uncalled for, ill-intended and show that they have no confidence with NASA leader Raila Odinga.

“President Kenyatta called the opposition chief and agreed on how to steady the country on economic growth and reforms to end circle of violence witnessed every five years,” he said in Eldoret town, Thursday.

“Raila briefed his NASA colleagues on what transpired and individual parties need to endorse structured discussion before coming together under NASA coalition to face Jubilee. The efforts of the three NASA principals wanting to meet president Kenyatta is out of order and shows there is lack of trust among the leaders. This will weaken the opposition and will give the ruling party jubilee a field day,” added Menjo.

He, however, applauded the move by president Uhuru Kenya and Raila Odinga accepting to work together.

“I want to congratulate the leaders for putting the country first this will bring Kenyans together, bring peace and end politics which has been the order of the day. This this is a sign of statesmanship and will help the country move forward,” noted the ODM NEC member.

Menjo called upon the two leaders to hold joint peace campaigns aimed at bringing Kenyans together.
