Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has finally broken his silence and weighed in on the impending ouster of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as the Leader of the Minority in the Senate.
The former Vice-President came to the defence of the embattled Bungoma senator, saying that nothing would happen to Wetangula as they had talked to Raila on the matter.
''Nothing will happen to Wetangula as I have already talked to Raila and he gave us the assuarance that Wetangula will remain with his position. We as Wiper have no problem,'' he said.
Kalonzo spoke yesterday (Monday) during a campaign rally in Kitui West aimed at drumming up support for the constituency's parliamentary aspirant Edith Nyenze, widow to the former area's MP Francis Nyennze.
He expressed confidence in Wetangula's leadership in the Senate, saying that his stewardship had been exemplary.
ODM MPs made public their intention to oust Moses Wetangula as the Leader of the Minority, triggering animated debate among Kenyans, especially on social media.
